School of Engineering Brochure
The University of San Diego Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering promotional brochure was designed to introduce prospective students—particularly first-year students—to the school’s academic programs, collaborative community, and hands-on learning environment.
/ Concept
The concept for the brochure centered on creating an interactive experience that reflected the innovative spirit of engineering. In collaboration with fellow art director Marina Woods, the design was inspired by the School of Engineering’s “I3: Imagine. Innovate. Inspire.” initiative.

/ Design
To incorporate an interactive element into the design, the brochure included a perforated fold-out with instructions showing students how to build an origami cube. Inspired by the School of Engineering’s I3 initiative, the cube symbolized the process of turning ideas into reality while encouraging hands-on engagement through design.

/ Result
By transforming the piece into a hands-on activity, the brochure reinforced the School of Engineering’s innovative identity while encouraging students to interact with the content in a creative and meaningful way.
